"Futurism?"
The title of this festival, 0, 2012: The Last Futurist Lab is a reference to 1915's "0, 10: The Last Futurist Exhibition," where Kazimir Malevich and Vladimir Tatlin presented their visual art. Many of the performances at Target Margin\'s Lab are inspired by the original performances that took place well after this "Last Exhibition." In what ways did the 1915 exhibition mark an "end"? A "beginning"? A "middle point"? Or a completely unremarkable non-event in the development of the Russian Avant Garde?
