Roza Khamitova

In everyday life I discover certain motives that bid me paint; I examine whether it sends its roots down to the deepest places of my heart and then I take my brush.

Born into family of artists in Kazakhstan in 1981, I was always surrounded by creative atmosphere. My parents were always supportive in my art, establishing solid artistic foundation and thus inspiring art as my way of life. In everyday life I discover certain motives that bid me paint; I examine whether it sends its roots down to the deepest places of my heart and then I take my brush. I depict my sorrows and desires, my passing thoughts and beliefs in beauty, I depict all that with heartfelt, quiet, humble sincerity; Now, through many long years of endless experimentation with mixed media and tapestry, I am able to create large, detailed draperies of my own drawings and paintings.

Right now I am studying in School of Visual Arts. At the moment I am attempting to expose my art to wider audience in New York Art galleries.
