Alla Dubrovskaya is a prominent voice in contemporary Russian prose. Her writing is introspective, delving into the complexities of human life, which is often marked by sadness and tragedy rather than happiness. In recent years, her work has focused on exploring the past. In 2025, her novella-myth "Agamemnon" was published in "New Review," and her short story "Tiberius on Rhodes" appeared in
the almanac "Novy Gilgamesh"
