Documentary, 45 minutes.  Language English.

Film director Semyon Pinkhasov, editor P.J. Pozner.

New documentary by Semyon Pinkhasov, "Safer than the Land" tells stories of several well-known immigrants who left their countries of birth to find themselves in other lands. They discuss reasons for their success, difficulties they had to overcome. The film takes viewers to the US, Canada, Israel and Russia.

The discussion will go beyond the scope of the new work, since we at RACC have been showing Pinkhsov's documentaries on various topics for about two decades, such as the series "Art under Dictatorship", the Holocaust and the grassroots Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative, the 2012 documentary "Sport and Peace ".
