Explore the legacy of Lazar Khidekel, one of the most celebrated artists to attend the Vitebsk school, in this conversation with architect Daniel Libeskind, art historian Regina Khidekel, and Maria Kokkori, Visiting Lecturer, Art Institute of Chicago. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Chagall, Lissitzky, Malevich: The Russian Avant-Garde in Vitebsk, 1918-1922.
The event begins with the presentation of the documentary film by Lesya Matsko “The Russian Avant-garde in Vitebsk”, for which Regina Khidekel consulted and gave an interview.

I must say, with all sincerity, that it was one of the more interesting talks that I’ve been to in quite some time. Credit to the legacy of Khidekel and Vitebsk, to Libeskind, and to a stimulating panel overall, that you surely have orchestrated. So, chapeau bas. Continued best wishes for success during the exhibition,
