Alexander Veytsman writes poetry and prose in both English and Russian language. His original poems, translations, as well as short stories and essays, have appeared in more than 50 publications worldwide. Among his published poetry volumes are "The Summer Captured in Parentheses" and "Of Canvases and Tombstones". A graduate of Harvard and Yale universities, he lives in New York City.

Alexander will read poems out of his new book, as well as those published in recent years.  

Regina Khidekel, RACC Director, is the curator of the Russian Reading Series at Yorkville Library.
